Legacy funds for mall stormwater plan

Our office received a 2014 Clean Water Fund grant for $186k to coordinate the development of a Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan for the Miller Hill Mall with our partners, BARR Engineering. We are extremely excited that the Mall is willing to work on improving their property to help restore Miller Creek. Barr Engineering is also a great asset to have on the project team as they completed a similar project on the Maplewood Mall that turned out to be just fantastic. Read more!

Grant awarded to hire second engineer

Our office also helped secure a $250 Clean Water Fund grant to hire another full-time conservation engineer. This position will help oversee project design for the entire 8-county region known as Area III. Among other projects, this new position will help manage some of the extra erosion control work caused by the 2012 floods.
